The Same Stuggles

In the years since I started researching and writing on the topic of music career success, I’ve met many people pursuing dreams in other areas of the arts. In every case I found them to be struggling with the exact same perceptions about talent, attitude and business skills as musicians. So I decided to broaden the discussion beyond music because the reasons I failed and my how not to follows are relevant for anyone and everyone who wants a long-term, successful career in The Arts.

From the Press Release:

Why I FAILED in the Creative Arts…and How NOT to follow in my Footsteps is the followup to Steve’s original book, Why I FAILED in the Music Business…and How NOT to follow in my Footsteps. His new book offers the same great information, but in a manner designed to appeal to anyone trying to earn a living in the creative arts.

Praise for Why I Failed in the Creative Arts:
“In a fast paced, engaging manner Grossman gives practical insight into what is really needed for success in the arts. Perhaps more importantly he also causes the reader to consider what is really needed for success in life, regardless of your profession. Highly recommended.”
